Memories eclipse the heartfelt goodbyes
As I pray to the skies and look for a sign.
Understanding I crave for my minds bitter sake
Yet, only darkness consumes me inside.
What light never will, darkness conveys
An eclipse from life's cruel ends.
Beating heart from troubled convictions,
Now the only sign of life.
