Down the rabbit hole

Tumbling, falling, quickly so
Amongst the grassy banks and earthen dwellers,
The remnants of ages gone by, facts and stories buried deep.
Moist and damp the crevasses writhe, yet amongst the shadows
A harmless omen or two delves deeper, claiming the darkness
With secrets to shed.
Swiftly and frantically light gradually fades,
Resonating a beacon from outside dimensions.
Narrow hollows and rabbit holes look feeble now
Compared to the portal of mystery and awe.
Adventure awaits in miraculous flair;
Challenges to be faced in worlds and dreams unknown.
